For phone orders, once your Credit Card details are processed, the middle 4 digits will be blanked out on our records and the details of the transaction kept in a secure location. For Direct Debit transactions, the full details of the card will be kept in a secure location until which time the rental period ceases and then the middle 4 digits will be blanked out and the transaction record kept in a secure location.

The term “organic’ used in advertising material, is used as a description only. City Chicks can supply certified organic laying mash and when used by clients should assist them getting organic eggs.
The term ”low maintenance” pets used in advertising material, is used as a general description only. They can be destructive with garden beds and dig up plants and seedlings.
City Chicks reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without providing notice to you. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

We believe that we have employed excellent delivery partners – ASAP and Fastway Couriers who will endeavour to provide you with the best attention to care and speediness of service. But there may be times when despite our best efforts, orders may be delayed in the delivery process.

Shipping and Handling
Bagged items are usually couriered with Fastway Couriers. Coop and chicken packages are usually couriered with ASAP or by staff from City Chicks.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform City Chicks if an order does not arrive. Once you inform us, we will lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.
If your order has been damaged prior to receipt, we will replace items according to our discretion, with another selection or refund to the credit card used for the purchase. Please keep the damaged goods until you have discussed with us what we are going to do. It may be that we need to see the goods or that we need to show the damage to our courier company in order to obtain compensation.
City Chicks is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. If you are returning your purchase because it is damaged, City Chicks will reimburse you with the cost of the postage. Any further reimbursement is at our discretion.
Without limiting the operation of any other terms and conditions herein, it is agreed that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle cancellation of an order.
